Whisky originating from the Nestville Distillery, a family-led distillery nestled at the feet of the picturesque High Tatra mountains. After 7 years of ageing in American oak casks, it spent another 6 months in casks from the excellent Royal Tokaji winery. Its founder, Hugh Johnson, a well-known author and wine historian, aims to reinvigorate and bring back the international fame of one of the most popular wining regions in history. What makes it even more interesting is the fact that those same barrels were later used for ageing 30-year-old Dictador Rum, bottled for the unique project Dictador 2Masters. A special limited edition – only 306 bottles.

In his world-famous book „Whisky Bible”, Jim Murray announced this whisky “BRILLIANT”. Nestville Whisky Single Barrell is a delicious and unique whisky renowned all over the world. It received a double golden medal at China Wine and Spirits Awards in 2018, as well as a golden medal at World Whiskeys Awards.
Tasting notes
- Nose: delicate and subtle aroma of honey and vanilla, paired with locust tree flower and caramel, distinctly noticeable influence of ageing in ex-Tokay casks.
- Palate: very fresh and energetic, intensely creamy at first, with a slightly spicy finish.

The Pendreyn distillery was the first whisky distillery established in Wales in over a century in the 2004.
